About Us
Music Eunited Tutoring Club is an addition to the Music Eunited Nonprofit Music Program. This club offers free academic tutoring for all students who qualify for low income or a disability and are in elementary school (K-5).
In the Music Eunited Tutoring Club, high school students across the city of Austin attend 'The Studio Cedar Park' every Sunday, to help these children with their school work. This may range from math, reading, writing, or even social skills. Our hours are from 2-6 pm.
Music Eunited Tutoring Club also aims to organize regular projects. Every year, we host the annual Music Eunited Christmas Concert at a retirement/nursing home. Thus far, we have had great successes at the Cedar Ridge Alzheimer's Special Care Center and Lakeline Oaks Retirement Community. The Music Eunited Tutoring Club is responsible for the organizing, planning, promoting, programming, and publicizing of this concert, including Music Eunited students, Music Eunited teachers, and other guest performers. We also create Christmas/secular holiday cards for the senior residents; every year, we strive to give every resident a card, and have succeeded! These cards are also made by our high school students recruited from honor societies; we have made cards in English and Spanish, ranging from sentimental to comical.

By volunteering at Music Eunited, volunteers may have the opportunity to earn hours. These hours cover most requirements: LISD/Humanitarian Hours (NHS), Academic Tutoring Hours (Math/English/Science/etc. Honor Societies). If there are other questions about hours, please talk to one of the club officers for more information. For specific questions regarding which hours may be used in certain clubs/organizations, we may attempt to talk to other sponsors to cover your hours.
